I can always elude you, but who am I fooling?
Even if I literally nudge you out of my way
You still prove to be callous
You always find a way to throw a pungent satire
You were never a conformist
You were never a conformist
And I was the ludicrous one
You’re being vile at times make me cringe
But you mesmerize me
When we suddenly become cordial
And the sheerness of the moments we’ve shared
Make me blush, sometimes whimper
Yet the drizzle always seizes these moments
And I’m dissuaded by the truth,
The irony of it all.
